Breakfast at Haloyiannis’ tastes and smells Andros
Breakfast at Haloyiannis is a thoughtfully curated experience, designed around each guest.
Prior to arrival, we take the time to learn about our guests’ dietary requirements, preferences, and individual tastes allowing us to prepare for their needs with care and attention to detail. Rather than following a traditional set breakfast, guests are invited to explore our extensive original menu and select exactly what appeals to them.
It is an unhurried, intimate experience – personal, considered, and created to make each morning at Haloyiannis feel truly special
Breakfast is our invitation to discover Andros through its flavors.
The ingredients and culinary traditions that have shaped the island inspire our menu.
We encourage our guests to try this local selection at least once during their stay. In our view, it is one of the most authentic ways to experience Andros – food that connects history, geography, agriculture and traditions of Andros.

Then come the sausages – locally sourced – full of herbs and generous chunks of pork meat. They come from our favorite farmer in the mountains of Andros.
Petroti is the local cheese from Andros, with a character of its own. We choose it not just because it is local but also because it belongs to the island since the time Venetians ruled and the locals stayed closely connected to the land.
Lastly, this culinary journey is completed with a selection of local desserts, bringing together some of the characteristic flavors of Andros: fragrant almonds, local honey and walnuts, aromatic citrus fruits, and delicate notes of flower water.
Andros desserts are known for their deep flavor and delicate aroma.
From traditional, homemade spoon sweets and jams made from the island’s fruits to the sophisticated pastitsakia and ergolavoi, they reveal another side of Andros culinary identity – the urban confectionery tradition developed as the island’s maritime heritage carried people far beyond the Aegean bringing
